Anyone heard of laser teeth whitening?

I've used and heard of whitening strips, but has anyone heard of laser teeth whitening. I guess kinda like laser hair removal just for plack and buildup.

Some dentists believe that tooth bleaching is more effective with the use of lasers and other sources of light, while others are of the opinion that the effect of tooth bleaching remains the same, with or without the use of lasers or lights.

Studies and research seem to indicate that +bleaching compounds contained in tooth whitening products seem to work well and give good results even without the use of lasers or lights. The use of lasers or lights had no effect on the results. The study was done by using the "split arch" method, wherein the teeth on one side were treated using just the whitener, while the teeth on the other side were treated using the whitener as well as an activating light source.

Everyone desires to have a great smile. For a killer smile, one should have sparkling, bright, and shiny teeth. Today, a lot of people are spending more money just to have their teeth whiter.

Laser Whitening - This is also called the "power whitening". Though expensive, a lot of people especially artists consider it as the best teeth whitening method. During this process, a rubber dam is placed over your teeth to shield the gums, and the whitening product is then painted on your teeth.

A laser will be used to stimulate the chemical. The light will help boost the chemical reaction of the bleaching product, thus the color change can be attained more rapidly.

Yes, it much faster, and much more expensive. I have heard of it costly anywhere from $500 -$1000. There is another professional option, and that is to have a whitening tray made to fit your teeth perfectly, and you take home the bleaching compound and place it in the tray and wear the tray overnight (until the desired result). This costs about $400 to get started, and about $60 to purchase additional treatments of bleaching compound.
