Is there anything you can add to this menu?

I am planning a picnic for the first weekend in November. I've chosen the following menu.

Butternut Squash Soap served in mini pumpkins

Baked Ham and Cheese Pie

Tomato Tarts

Broiled Apples served with walnut-pecan crunch

Fall Leaves Salad with warmed honey vinaigrette dressing

Pear-Cranberry Tarts with warmed custard sauce

Apple Cider

Is there anything that can be added to make it more autumn-ish? OH!! LOL....maybe I should explain the fall leaves salad....its a leafy salad made with red leaf lettuce, arugula, oakleaf and radicchio, radishes, red, yellow and orange peppers, and baby bibb lettuce for contrast.

Update:

Christopher...LOL...thankfully I do cook better than I type.

Cider, both hot and spiced and cold. I thought also, for the adults, some Irish Coffee to finish it all off.

I detest hard cider!

I'm impressed, and that takes a LOT to do that....Trust me on that one........All you need is a "cold snap" of weather to complete your ensemble...........Very nicely done!!!

As a professional chef, you have EVERY base covered!!! Only thing is, you might want to serve Butternut Squash SOUP, not soap.......(just kidding)..........

Is the apple cider going to be warm and spiced or cold or both??? Just wondering...... ;))

A lot of apples/fruit in there and three different pastries.

As it's not vegetarian why not Chix drumsticks, in a roasted (finely chopped) chestnut coating.

Mushrooms are Autumnal use large and stuff with bacon/breadcrumbs.

Warm them however you are warming the Custard.

    Enjoy

It's perfect but the only other thing I would add is come sort of hot crusty bread to go with the salad & soup.

You got three things in piecrust -- the ham and cheese pie, the tomato tarts, and the pear tarts. I'd do something else with the tomatoes, maybe a tomato-corn relish or sliced tomatoes with fresh basil and parmesan curls. Can I please be invited?

    Sounds good!!

The only thing I would add is pumpkin pie asa dessert...just because fall isn't fall without some pumpkin pie lol.

But really, your menu looks really good. Have fun!

The only thing I would add is a nice crisp Chardonnay. And an invite to me. :)
