Trying to remember a programme from Windows 95/98 era?

So today I was playing Monopoly because we were having a no-internet afternoon (remember what life was like before places like this?) and for some reason I remembered a programme that I used to play at a friends house.

I can't remember the name.

I can barely remember what it was about.

It was cartoon - everything was cartoon style and I'm sure there was like a handle that you pressed.

I think you could make newspapers and things like that - you could choose a few different options to do.

I don't know much else...except that the friend I played it with was my friend until about 1999 (well we made friends again in 2004 but that's besides the point), so the game has to have been played on either a Windows 95 or Windows 98 computer. It's a long time ago I know.

Does anyone have any idea at all what this programme could be?

Update:

-DC- that REALLY helps...I'm giving you all the info I can remember. A handle you could press isn't that difficult to understand, in the programme there was a handle you pressed instead of enter or something, I can't remember exactly. I told you I didn't know a lot about it.

Update 2:

I found it. It's Creative Writer & Fine Artists.

I can't help you there, but strangely i sort of know what you're talking about. It really rings a bell and is annoying me now ( Thanks a lot! :D ) .

Lemme know if you find out!

So let's see, we know that it 1) was cartoon style with a handle that you pressed (whatever that means), 2) ran on Win95/98, and 3) had different options. That describes about 90% of the games from that era!
