How do you remove the Oil filler tube on a 4.3 Vortec?

2000 Chevy Blazer. How do I remove the oil filler tube?

Update:

Trying to remove to get valve cover off. Too much in the way.

    Grab down by the base turn it to the left. It will move about a quarter turn then stop. Then pull it straight out.

    Robert W, you shouldn't comment unless you know what you're talking about. The 4.3 is a twist off and there are several reasons. One of which it to replace the valve cover gasket on the passenger side.

    They are usually pressed in from the factory and it's not something that gets replaced.
