Yes, if someone is so scared they have a heart attack, they can die. That's why amusement parks have signs warning people with heart conditions not to go on certain rides or in certain attractions.

ya that's would happened to my fishes (ohh how do you say that) Nemo and Deno. Deno got a heart attack after seeing us fry chicken when our cat jumped up on the counter and meowed loudly deno got a heart attack and when Nemo saw deno dead he died too.
