low grade fever, sore throat still after finishing a round of antibiotics. sinus pressure?

I don't want to go back to the doctor. Should i go? I had the same thing with a ear infection and sever sore throat. If this is just viral I do not want antibiotics. The flu is going on in my household but I know i don't have the flu because I am not nearly as sick as they are.

Update:

Thanks guys!

I would go back if...you have high fever (above 100'); you have yellow/green nasal drainage, difficulty breathing, or you feel/look really ill. Good for you for questioning the use of antibiotics for a virus.

If you finished your round of antibiotics and you took them as directed - yep, I'd say you have some sort of virus. It may or may not be flu. You could go to the Dr. but you'll just have to wait it out anyway. Nothing you can do for a (most) virus, but it sounds like you know that already.

    Feel better.

It easily sounds like an infection & you does not be some distance off having a fever... i prefer to recommend seeing a physician as you could choose antibiotics to do away with the micro organism responsible for an infection. i might continually err on the realm of warning while it is composed of getting an infection that on the brink of your ideas. that is plausible for an infection to unfold to the ideas inflicting encephalitis.
