Is halloween still on?

I heard somewhere that they are canceling halloween (at lest in some parts of Michigan). How much of this is really true.

    I have lived in Michigan all of my life and I haven't heard this,I know where I am now that they are letting kids treat or treat from 6:00pm to 8:00pm,I wondering where you heard this? Happy Haunting to you.
