How long should i wait til i change my lip ring?
Ive had it pierced for a week. Right now I have a stud in it. how long should i wait til i put a lip ring in?

wait until the piercing has fully healed (6-8 weeks for most people)
if the stud that you have in is bothering you because of its length (which it probably is if the swelling has gone down) go get a shorter stud. studs are better for healing than rings. Rings create pressure points that can irritate a healing lip piercing and will drag dirt and bacteria through the piercing site.

You really should wait at least 6 weeks. Some people change it within a month, I changed mine after 3 weeks. Looking back, I should have waited. If you want it to heal properly, wait 6 weeks. I know it is hard but it's worth it.
