On the making of a corset?

I'm making a corset for my halloween costume (yes, a bit late I know) but I don't have enough time to go out and buy those eyelets for the lace ups. What could I do instead so that the corset will still come off easily, without having to get eyelets for the lacing?

    grommet tape.

they sell it at a lot of curtain stores, fabric stores, craft stores, ect.

otherwise, you could always just poke a bunch of holes in the back, and thread the ribbon/string through them. but that will look *really* DIY and the holes could rip.

but if its just for one night, and you don't plan on using the top for anything else, its an option.
