What online spice vendor has the best quality for the best price?

The local Safeway is overpriced with garbage, the smaller shops have terrible selection. What online spice vendor has a wide selection of quality products at a reasonable price? I don't want to order 5 pounds of spices just to end up with mostly expired sawdust.

I am not looking for a 5 second Google answer, I am looking for returning customer reviews.

    Hello Amy,

Admittedly, we are biased, but you can find exactly what you are looking for at MySpiceSage.com. All of your concerns are valid concerns that we hear from customers all the time who turned to buying spices online instead of buying in the store. Most never go back!

Selection - MySpiceSage has over 250 gourmet spices, seasonings and herbs available for purchase.

Packaging Size - We understand your concern about freshness. We allow customers to buy as little as 1 oz. of every product offered. No bulk requirements here.

Returning customer reviews - You can find hundreds of testimonials from real customers here: https://www.myspicesage.com/index.php?main_page=te...

Shipping - Many online stores have great prices, but will kill you on shipping. MySpiceSage offers a low $4 flat fee on shipping and free shipping on orders $40+.

    We hope this helps!

I don't buy my spices online, but if you want the best deals on spices, go to your local Mexican, Middle Eastern, Asian grocer. You can find large and small bags of tumeric, cinnamon, laurel or bay leaves, dandelion, cumin, chipotles for $1-$5USD. Bottles of cumin in a much smaller quantity run around $7 at Whole Foods. An Indian grocer doesn't find garam masala as exotic as Safeway, so you won't have to pay $10 for a tiny bottle.

Even when I go down the ethnic aisle at Kroger, etc, they have bags of spices for a much better value than the regular spice aisle at Safeway.

Perhaps you were looking in the wrong place before. The markup on spices is pretty high. I don't think looking online is really worth it....

    Try: www.oldforgespices.com

The prices are really good for the amount you get, and the quality is really good too. The selection is not too wide or exquisite, but at least all of the basics are there.

Source(s): I've ordered there several times.

Ecsphoria is a lot better than Spice.
