Best Jamaican vacation?
We are a 40 something couple looking for a relaxing trip to Jamaica. Want an all-inclusive resort but not looking for a strictly party atmosphere. Any suggestions?

If you have the dime to drop on it, check out Sandals Whitehouse, it is on a more desolate part of the island, and is good for our age group.

Sandals is probably one of the nicest all inclusive resorts but they are on the expensive side. Try looking into Super Clubs Grand Lido. I've been to several of their locations and they do offer a lot for the money you pay. My favorite areas in Jamaica are Negril, Montego Bay and Ochio Rios.

You all-inclusive choices are great in Jamaica.
The three that our family have been to break down into three kinds.
One, the one my wife and I go to. Full adult only, good fun into the night if you want it or not if you do not. No kids around to cry and make you remember the ones you left behind. Adult fun to join in on if you wish or to just enjoy from a chair while you read and relax in the sun or shade.
Hedonism III is the one we go to, St Anns, Runaway Bay.
Then just around the bend in the bay is Breezes Runaway Bay.
Older teens and adults. Great beach I am told by the wife and the two boys along with lots of day time things to do. Night life is not much as most of the ppl there head for bed by 9pm.. silly newly weds..
Our older girl and her new hubby did a Sandels resort on the other side of the island where " it was scary, every body dressed the same, the men in shorts and polo shirts and the women in sun dresses." They ended up going off the resort for most of the "fun" like zip line tour and a long taxi ride to a bar to jump off a cliff... also visited with small farm that one of the resort workers has just to have something to do.
SO, If your after just doing not much and plan on a good nights sleep,
Breezes.. golf too there..
If your happy with yourself and want to enjoy being the adults you are then Hedo..
Our take on things..

RIU Negril, Jamaica. The BEST time I have ever had. So much to do. All inclusive resort. (This includes the bar a well!) Several restaurants to chose from daily. Many FREE water activities like the paddle boats, pedal boats, wind surfing.....there is SOOO much more. I think it would be easire for you to look at the website that tells just a fraction of what they offer, but it's still a lot. If you have any questions, email me
