Can I get in to Hopkins?
My SAT is a 2110 ( 730 CR 740 math 640 writing), planning on retaking this. I'm a national merit semi finalist ATM (have not received word on contest) and I have a good amount of extra curriculars, including BBBS, have received awards for math at the school level. I'm wondering if I have a chance at getting in to John's Hopkins? That's my dream school ( for medicine, of course) but am also applying to LeMoyne college, siena, and university at buffalo. some feedback and advice would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank You! (BTW forgot to mention. My GPA is not that great. 85 avg but will graduate w/ an advanced regents w/ honors diploma, and am taking AP: English, Calculus, physics, and french

You can probably get in, but your gpa is really low, and your SAT is probably on the lower end of things. Be sure to get good recommendations and write a ******* mammoth essay.
But realize what you're getting into. I got straight A's in high school , 99th percentile, AP credit, etc., etc. but Johns Hopkins is really difficult, intense, and competitive. You shouldn't idealize it as a place where all your dreams are going to come true because it's so challenging and it breaks pretty much everyone's spirit at one point or another. Even if you do get in, keep in mind it's not for everyone, and think about where you'll be happiest, not just who has the best reputation.

Sugar Ray Leonard was once without doubt an all time nice, mainly at welterweight! Bernard Hopkins may be an all time nice and that's beginning at middleweight. When it comes correct all the way down to it Leonard at his excellent was once simply too small for Hopkins at his excellent. As slick as leonard was once he perhaps fortunate ample to final 12 rounds. I would not be amazed if Hopkins stopped him within of 12, however both approach Hopkins wins effortless!
