  • How to play burned Blu-Ray discs on a PS3?

I'm just getting in to the whole torrenting thing, and I was wondering if it's possible to play burned Blu-ray movies on a PS3 without modding the console? Is there some sort of anti-piracy thing where it won't accept non-commercial discs or do I have to simply do a file conversion or what?

  • What does it mean if a girl wants to hang out?

I met this girl about 3 weeks ago, and we seem to have hit it off nicely. I've dropped hints that I like her, and I've asked her to get coffee or hang out a couple times (which she accepted 2/4 times). The thing is, last night I texted her that I had fun and that we should do it again sometime, and she never responded (this was around 8pm so I know she wasn't asleep). What I don't understand though, is that she has never mentioned that she does / does not like me in a romantic way, but she will make plans with me (even more so now that I think she knows I like her). Why would she continue making plans while ignoring or being unavailable when I ask her?

BTW the plans she's making aren't group things, it's just the 2 of us.

  • Does this girl like me?

There's a girl in my history class (ok, woman, she's 19) who I have been texting for a week or so. She obviously likes me at least in a friendly context but I don't know if there is something more to it? Let me elaborate. I was talking to her on facebook, and my computer died. I sent her a message along the lines of 'text me at x if you want, otherwise cya in class'. So she starts texting me. I send longer messages but she doesn't reply with like 1 word messages or anything. I ask most of the questions, she always answers them. She uses smileys all the time. Blah blah, friendly stuff.... I asked her out for coffee sometime before class (didn't say x date at x time, just an open invitation), and she said 'Ha my alarm isn't going earlier... i'd be grumpy x) but sounds like cool beans' (she says cool beans a lot).... does it sound like she is actually interested (or even just maybe) and just doesn't want to get up early? or is that her way of saying 'yeah ok but we're just friends'?... sorry for the lengthy post. I suck with women ^.^

  • How to adjust the seat height in a 2000 Eclipse RS?

I'm thinking about buying a 2000 Eclipse RS. I loved the car when I drove it, but the seat was too damn low for me to see well. The seats are not powered, and I didn't think to try and adjust the seat height when I drove it.

How do you raise the driver's seat up?

Is it as simple as pushing a lever and raising it, kind of like sliding the seat forward? Or do you have to take the seat out first or something dumb?

Prompt answers would be appreciated ^.^

  • Is the Eclipse a reliable car?

I'm buying my first car soon, and right now I'm leaning towards a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS. 130k, automatic for $2,000.

The price is comparable to others in my area.

My question is, is 130k high mileage for the model?

I'm well aware that cars can last hundreds of thousands of miles (my dad had a station wagon that went 350k before the engine finally died).

I'm just a little curious as to what I should be looking out for, any repairs that might need to be done in the near future.

This car will only need to last me a year or 2 tops. Planning on using it as a trade for a Cobalt next summer, but I don't want some piece that will need 5k in repairs in the next 20,000 miles.

  • Best turn based RPG's for PS Vita?

I recently got a PS Vita (won it in a contest). I have a PS3 and a PSP and I was wondering if there are any good RPG's out for the system, either downloadable PSP games or PS Vita games. I would prefer turn based as I haven't quite gotten used to the Vita's controls yet, though I do enjoy action RPG's as well.

I'm thinking about giving Tactics Ogre: Let us cling together and SMT: Persona a try. What's your input?

  • Fatigue and Kidney Stones?

I went to the ER Sunday (the 24th) with severe pain in my right kidney and was diagnosed with a 4mm kidney stone.

A couple days later, I passed some of the stone, but my urologist said that there is almost definitely still some of the stone in my ureter.

The last couple days I have been so exhausted I have barely been able to leave the house. Is this a common occurance after passing some of a stone? My right ureter was completely blocked and my kidney swelled to twice the normal size, so I'm curious if this is just a side effect of all the backed up urine flushing through my system (no pun intended). I doubt it is the ondansetron / Flomax I'm on because I have only had the fatigue for a few days. Any advice will be greatly appreciated and best answer will get best answer =).

  • Are Del-ton AR-15's decent?

I'm looking for my first AR and I was told about Del-ton kits. The thing I liked is that the upper is completely built already and it ships with the lower parts kit, so all I need is a stripped lower. I'm wondering though, what kind of quality are the kits?

I've always lived by 'if it seems too good to be true, it probably is'. Is $470 for an entire rifle save for one piece about right for an entry level kit, or are these cheap POS' that I should stay away from?

  • Looking for a good, in inexpensive AR-15.?

This will be my first AR, so I don't quite know a whole lot about them. Bear with me here =).

I'm shopping around for an AR that can fire .223 and 5.56, M4 style (adjustable stock and shorter length), preferably with forward rails. I don't need quad rails as I don't plan on mounting flashlights or anything, I just need a rail to mount a forward grip on.

If anyone could point me to some good manufacturers that make entry level AR's in the $600 price range, it would be much appreciated.

I looked at the S&W M+P 15 Sport models, but I don't like how the charging handle extends over the stock. Is this how they all work, because I have never seen one that did this.

Also, one that accepts a slidefire stock would be great since I'd love to give that a try when money allows >:).

I'm in NY btw. I know some companies won't ship to NY because of our retarded gun laws.

  • Mossberg 500 or Remington 870?

Both are extremely reliable guns that will probably go down as some of the most influential shotguns of the 20th century. Which gun do you prefer?

    I myself shoot a Mossberg 535, a variant of the 500 with a 3.5 inch chamber.

  • Cable box stuck on E-13?

I just got my cable box today, hooked it up, and it is stuck on E-13. When I power the box on, the blue mystro screen comes up and says initialization at the bottom. It is not setting up like they usually do. Any ideas?

  • Where can I get deer blood?

I'm looking to train my Boxer to track blood for locating wounded deer. The problem is, I need deer blood, and I didn't save any from any of my kills this year. Is there some website where I can order some? I don't think butchers keep that stuff on hand or anything or I would have tried that already.

  • Broken PS3, won't turn on?

My PS3 recently broke. It was plugged in and when I went to use it, the red power indicator light was off. I checked the cable in the back and unplugged the system from the wall and plugged it back in. The red light came back on, but when I turned it on, the green light flashed and the system went silent / lights off. No YLOD or flashing red light or anything. Has anyone else had this problem or know what it is? If so, could you give me a tentative fix for it or does it need to be shipped back to Sony? Please no 'buy an X-box' answers, I never will replace my PS3 for an X-box, I just want to fix it. It was bought in April '10, 120gb slim, so I think it's out of warranty.

  • shoulder slips out after injury?

~5 years ago I injured my right shoulder in gymnastics (I fell forward on the P bars and wrenched them, but my right was much worse). I went to the doctor but all the tests were negative, so he assumed it was just tendinitis with multi-directional instability, but the instability was in both shoulders. Now, 5 years later, it has acted up again and it hurts to lift heavy objects below my waist, as well as other movements. Is it normal for the arm to slip out of the joint (about 2-3cm downward) if my shoulder muscles (deltoid) are not engaged? It hurts to keep it in the joint with my muscles and I'm afraid im injuring it further by lifting weight with my arm hangin' out. Please help O.o.

  • How to tell if I'm overweight?

I'm looking for a reliable BMI calculator for muscular people. I'm 5'4 and 176 lbs which, according to all the BMI calculators I've seen, is considered obese. My doctor has never mentioned that I need to lose weight and although I do have a few extra pounds, I'm in great shape for sports. (I ref / play hockey) I'm wondering if there is a tool out there that will take muscle mass into account? I do have quite muscular legs (I can squat at least 500... got bored of adding weight) and i have very strong shoulders / back muscles so I think they are just assuming that I'm 170 lbs of fat.
