Broken PS3, won't turn on?
My PS3 recently broke. It was plugged in and when I went to use it, the red power indicator light was off. I checked the cable in the back and unplugged the system from the wall and plugged it back in. The red light came back on, but when I turned it on, the green light flashed and the system went silent / lights off. No YLOD or flashing red light or anything. Has anyone else had this problem or know what it is? If so, could you give me a tentative fix for it or does it need to be shipped back to Sony? Please no 'buy an X-box' answers, I never will replace my PS3 for an X-box, I just want to fix it. It was bought in April '10, 120gb slim, so I think it's out of warranty.

There are a few aftermarket shops that fix ps3s but obviously there is absolutely nothing you can do about it by yourself. So either take it to one of these shops [cant give you an exact one since i dunno where you live] or get a new one [theyre pretty cheap with the end of year specials]
