Cable box stuck on E-13?

I just got my cable box today, hooked it up, and it is stuck on E-13. When I power the box on, the blue mystro screen comes up and says initialization at the bottom. It is not setting up like they usually do. Any ideas?

    1. Make sure the cable from the wall is plugged into the correct input of the cable box.

    2. Unplug the cable box from power for 2 minutes or so then plug it back in and re-try.

    3. Call you cable provider and get an electronic re-hit for the box.

    4. Bad cable box return it for a different one.
