How can I dispose of contaminated diesel fuel?

I have 5 gallons of diesel fuel I need to get rid of. It's contaminated with oil, water, and some garbage so there is no way it can be used. I'm having a hard time finding a place to bring it. Anyone know what to do with it?

Thanks

Oh, and I live in the Middle Tennessee area

sorry to hear that, a common problem,i have done it my self,it all depends on what type of car you have you may be able to get the bottom of the filler neck off the tank which is rubber held on by a jubillee clip or spring clip and drain it from there if a modern car it is unlikely that you can get a tube down the nozzle and drain it out as they tend to have an anti syphon device fitted. if you dont have any luck with these there are firms which specialize in this type of problem and they come to you, what they do is disconect a fuel line to the filter then create an airtight seal on the filler cap and fill it with compressed air forcing the fluid out the system i think they come out quickly or do you have recovery RAC/AA etc you can do this yourself if you can make a tight seal round the filler neck, or will probably be ok if fill up completely with diesel if it holds say 70 litres it will still run but may smoke a little for a while . if not sure type in contaminated fuel into the net for your local cure
