how would you reformat a laptop using the boot-on-lan since its cd-rom won't work?

    pxe boot is one route, if you have to ask though you probably dont have the means to do this yet.

    You can use flash drives, you can use an external dvd player. these ones you just choose the boot drive in the bios and make it one of these.
