i want to have comcast cable and dishnetwrok at the same time.?

i had the comcast installed first when the dish guy came he said he cannot split the connection coming out of the wall for both at the same time

any soloution?????

    The Dish guy was wrong. (Imagine that....) You can use diplex filters to run cable and satellite signals on the same coaxial cable. It takes two diplexers, one outside, one inside.

    Have the dish guy run separate lines to your TV, or hire your own contractor to install separate coaxes for Dishnetwork, for the Dishnetwork installer to connect to with no effect on the Comcast.
