How can the number of jobs saved by government spending be proved?
Are these numbers just being pulled out of thin air or is there proof to back up the numbers. Please give a source other then the White house website saying so.

There is no way to prove these numbers. People who no longer receive unemployment benefits are not included in these surveys so to find out how many jobs have been saved or created your guess is as good as any ones

It can't be proved, it's an estimate, but the numbers have logic behind them and they are far from being pulled out of thin air. I'm sure if you read any of the articles about the White House's claim, there will be some information in there about how they got to that number.

Whatever the number is, I highly doubt they saved more jobs than they destroyed.
That was 800 billion taken out of the economy and artificially placed in politically connected places of industry. Whatever numbers they pull out of their ***, they can't deny the unemployment numbers or the fact that public sector jobs have increased at the expense of the private sector.
These assholes want us all working for the government and under their control. They want to destroy the private sector.

Of course they cannot be proved, nor can they be disproved. Welcome to the world of politics. Politicians always have and always will spin things to their advantage when they can. For this reason, while it is good to listen to the politicians, including the ones with whom you disagree, only a fool would form their opinions solely based on what politicians say.

With unemployment hovering around 10%, I'd say they were just pulling numbers out of their hats..

Great question. It simply can't.
I liken this claim to the Left politicizing the weather - if climate goes up it's our fault, if climate goes down it's our fault. It's an unprovable statement, and a crutch for them to shove more bureaucracy down our throats.

Most of them are temporary road jobs or government jobs.
That does nothing to improve the wealth and stability of our Country.
It is so bogus.
12,000 jobs so they say in Arizona.
$235,000 a job.
What economy.
