Are there permits required to babysit anywhere in the US?

I was wondering if a permit is needed to babysit anywhere in the US. In any state. And this permit is only required for teens under the age of 18.

Update:

I'm just talking about basic babysitting. Not a daycare facility. But thank you.

Update 2:

I know there's not a law that includes my state but I was wondering about the other states. And the permit has to be directed more towards people under the age of 18.

check your state laws for the "work permit" laws pertaining to your age group. You can find this info at your county courthouse.
