Whilst in the books the Death Eaters take up a big role, in the movies they don't do as much. So, to answer your question, if I was inside the book, I would consider being a Death Eater (but I do like Dumbledore's Army :P). But if I were in a movie I would not want to be a Death Eater.

I'm also tired but I wouldn't just say I wanna become a Death Eater. I would want to become something cooler with more history and powers. Like Dobby or Kreacher :/ Just kidding :P
