Why don't I get a best answer even once in Yahoo! Answers?

All the questions you have answered in past few days , have not had a Best answer chosen for them yet, so do not give up hope, Right now they are all still open to receive answers from others

One of the answers is correct & incorrect TC's do not always have the BA's as is again obvious by the answer given from the answer this TC gave.. But many times they do because they have been here for awhile & have learned what works & doesn't.. Usually seeing the % of BA's a TC has & the length of time they have here & the common sense they use when giving their answer speaks for itself especially when the advice works even if it is detailed & long..

that is in an effort to provide all the needed information

I know what you mean I personally think the best answer should be the first one that is correct and good no matter how long it is. Everyone thinks that giving a long answer is the best way to go which in theory it isn't. What also annoys me is when people always give best answer to a TC because they "know" the answers more than anyone else on yahoo, which isn't true at all. And they never give anyone else a chance.

Give thorough, detailed answers

Avoid answers like "IDK" or "google it"

Find a category you know a lot about (which is why I don't answer in "Cars")

Answer questions with only a few answers (or none at all)

Good spelling & grammar help too

Avoid 'yes' or 'no' questions

Put the questions you answer on your Watchlist - if the asker lets the question go to voting, vote for your own answer (if you think it's the best one).
