These emails have been around for a very long time, Yahoo is aware of it. In fact I got a email from AT&T warning me about these scams a couple of weeks ago. Yahoo has been asking their account users to update security questions, but that comes as a pop up when you sign in, not a email. That's where these scams take advantage of some, if they don't know the procedure. Everyone just marks them Spam.
