Ipod touch 3rd gen vs 2nd gen?
Has anyone out there had a 2nd gen ipod touch and then upgraded to the new 3rd gen with the faster processor? If yes then how much better/faster is it?

not impressed with it, a new gen is suppose to surpass its predecessor and the "faster processing" is hardly noticeable, only thing new is the mic and 64 gig, sigh i await the 4th gen hoping it's not another letdown.

well from working with both i have seen that the 3rd gen is alot faster but all of the ipod and iphones are subject to slower speeds when the hard drive is full or even close to full as well as if you do not stop apps when done with them. also the email settings on them will slow things down alot as well. just make sure it is not checking email every few mins. but yes, the 3rd gen is faster.
