Why are Alabama Football Fans so rude?
Alabama Fans have this rude unsportsmanlike chant they chant in unison after they win a game. I feel this is a poor example to young football fans and does not show good sportsmanship. Is the win not enough, you have to rub it in the face of the losers too?
Guessing Wrong - Vols Fan here.
While I have no problem with Notre Dame (one of our local High School boys was recruited there) I do have a problem with thousands of people chanting in unison "We just beat the He.. out of you."
Gives the impression the SEC is redneck
Read the answer Jack S gave.
Can anyone understand him?
Is he from Alabama?
And I do understand tradition, I just don't appreciate this particular tradition. Screaming obscenities at people is not appropriate at a family function like a football game.

Since you live in the South, you probably have seen how SEC football is a way of life down here. people are passionate about their team because it represents their state and way of life. I am a LSU fan, and i don't really care for any other football team in the league except for maybe miss state and vandy, so yeah i dont like Bama. I admit that sometimes i go overboard with the trash talking, but people just get caught up in it, you know. Anyway, with all due respect to Bama, since LSU is playing them on Saturday, maybe you won't hear the chant after the game, you will hear the LSU alma mater instead :)

I'd say it has to be SEC fans. They always kind of talk down about every other conference and how their teams wouldn't even rank in the top 7 of theirs. But for the most part, most college football fans are pretty friendly even to the fans of competitors. The most intense rivalry I've ever seen in the Michigan vs OSU rivalry, but even if you are a fan of the opposing team, they may raz you but they'll still invite you over to grab some food at the tailgating party.

It is a tradition that sounds pretty cool. I don't know the exact words but I've made out " Hey ----- we beat the hell out of you" and " Give them hell Alabama".
If you played in a conference with Tennessee , Auburn , LSU , Georgia and Florida , fans it would have Notre Dame doing it to.

Thats what fans do when their team wins. There is nothing wrong with it. You're a Notre Dame fan aren't you? Just guessing.
