I need art, literature, and other sources that show what happens after death?
Do you know of any paintings, sculptures or other sources that might show or explain what they believe happens after death? I know there are paintings that show someone dead and you can see angels pulling up the souls of those lost to the Heavens. Without names of the work, it is hard to research what I want so I am hoping someone knows some.
Thank you so much for answering. Unfortunately I can not use what has already been covered in class and Dante's Divine Comedy was used. But you did get me thinking of different ways to research what I need.

Let's see, there is:
Gates of Hell with Adam and Eve- Auguste Rodin (sculpture)
Coronation of the Virgin- Enguerrand Quarton (Painting, not exactly what you are looking for but on the lower portion it shows purgatory and hell with the people in it)
Assumption and Consecration of the Virgin- Titian
For literature I would have to say the best is Dante's Divine Comdey.
