Call around and ask the vets. Not all of them have the specialized equipment needed to check a dog's blood pressure. And only a vet can do it. This is something fairly new in the pet vet area. I had to go to a specialty clinic when I needed one of my dogs checked. But it can be done and sometimes is an important tool in diagnosing illness. Good luck.
