i was wrapping christmas presents with my mom one year and i had just wrapped a gift for my brother. i was writing the to/from tag and i asked my mom who the gift was from. my mom said 'just write santa claus'. i was 13 and she thought i already knew. i hid it from her then but she heard me telling my brother the story a couple years ago and got really upset with herself. i'm 21 now if you're wondering.

  • WHAT!?!?!? What do you mean Santa doesn't exist? you just crushed a little girl's innocence.

Seriously, I never even belived until I was about 5, because I was looking at the news and the weather man was showing Santa's route on the map and I said to myself "If it's on the news, it MUST be real" lol...But I found out he wasn't real that same night when i saw my uncle in a Santa costume eating pie.

I was somewhere between grade four and six. I'd had doubts for a while and finally I just asked my mom and dad. I'm now in highschool and I'm still heartbroken :(
