Bearded dragons are great pets but the initial investment can be a bit overwhelming.
You will need:
A tank at least a 40 gallon breeder for an adult, but can get by with a 20 gallon for the first 6 months. You will also need a screen (not glass) The tank will run you from $30.00 - $100 I would try and find one used because it doesn't have to hold water and people are always selling used aquariums.
For substrate you can use a number of things I don't recommend sand because it can cause impaction even the calcium sand is known to do this so a good alternative is go to either Lowes or Home depot and look for indoor/outdoor rug it's the same as reptile carpet but a fraction of the price and you just spot clean it then throw it away or wash it when it gets too messy. - $10.00
Your lights are going to be the most expensive thing. Now with a bearded dragon you don't need an under tank heating pad because they bask and get most of their heat from above. and NEVER USE HEATING ROCKS bearded dragons can't since heat on their underside so they can burn themselves. What you will need is a Ceramic Basking Lamp - $15 - $20 and a basking bulb I use and recommend the Zoo med basking bulbs (they last a long time) - $6 You will also need a UVB bulb this is probably the most expensive yet critical part without uvb the Dragon cannot make vitamin D3 and will get very sick and die! So it is a must. Depending on the size tank you are looking for a fixture and bulb probably around - $60 (I use and recommend the Zoo med Repti Sun 10.0)A night light is not needed unless your house gets below 65 degrees at night then you need to get an inferred bulb for heat at night. - $10
You will also need driftwood and a hide these can be found at the pet store and probably get both for under $20
Other than that your bearded dragon will need crickets a few at first but once he is a few months old he will be eating 30 in one sitting so at first you can buy them at the pet store but once he starts gong through them fast I would recommend making a cricket keeper and ordering crickets in bulk to SAVE you A LOT of money. I use Ghan's cricket farm.
Last but not least the Cost of a bearded dragon varies on where you buy them and what type. Generally at the pet store they are around $40.00 to $60.00

Depends on where you get your dragon, I would say for a hatching to juvi you'd be looking at $60 to $78.
A 40 gallon tank (for one dragon) is fine for it's whole life. It is the minimum size, don't down size it any more. 60 gallon is the best choice if you have the money to do it. I paid $99.99 for my 40 gallon.
petmountain.com is the best place to get the best lights, aka ZooMed's 10.0% UV-B bulbs. You get get one 18" bulb for $16 but I recommend getting two bulbs.
Heat bulbs can be bought at a pet supply store, I like Exo-Terra's 75watt tight beam bulb and the 100watt Heat Glo red bulb at night. (about $8.00 or so per bulb)
Buy a bearded dragon book.
Visit some bearded dragon care sites online.
Go to reptileuv.com for they're care sheet as well as reptilechannel.com
Hope that helps!

Separate your dragons and your problem will be solved. They are not meant to live together unless they are mating, which is way too early for a 4 month old dragon, they dont reach sexual maturity till around 1 year.

Well, you see i live in indonesia, and everything here costs fairly cheap if you convert the money to US dollars.. lets have a look
Bearded Dragon: Rp. 600,000 = $60
Tank (50 gal.): Rp. 300,000= $30
Lights: Rp. 200,000= $20
Bedding/ substrate: Rp. 40,000= $4
Caves: Rp. 20,000 = $2
Crickets/ mealworms: Rp. 3000 = $0.30
Water: FREE
That's just for your information.. dont trust this because the price in here is different than in the US.. This is just for fun.. i got bored :D
