The name of the athlete who murdered his family...?

More specifically, the famous athlete who killed his family and then himself (not sure if there was rape involved), if I remember correctly. He was originally viewed as honorable, and a large sports corporation even put a video of his successes as a memoir to him. However, it stopped praising the athlete after the truth of his actions came to light. Thank you for your help in advance.
