2000 Chevrolet Cavalier Trac Off Light on while in park?

Hi Folks, hoping someone can help me. The Trac Off light is on in my cavalier, and the car is in Park, not moving. I pulled the Diag code off with my diag computer and it only says that a cylinder is misfiring.

I replaced the plugs because it was being specifc to Cylinder 1 before, now it just says a general misfiring.

What could cause the Trac off light to be on though, while sitting at Park? Faulty sensor?

    Can be a faulty sensor, a short in the wires somewhere between the sensor and your gauge cluster, or your engine does have a problem that isn't an easy fix.
