If my test for gluten-intolerance came back normal, as in I am apparently not intolerant or have coeliacs, why?

do I seem to get symptoms of gluten intolerance when I have things like bread?

I just went through the same thing. I went in to speak with my doctor and thought it was gluten-intolerant. He listened to my symptoms and did the blood test as well as an ultra sound on my gallbladder. Turns out I have gallstones which can have the same reaction on the body, but not in reaction to wheat, in reaction to fatty foods and large meals. Maybe that's whats really going on?

Is it the bread or is it the butter which you put on it?

Lactose intolerance can produce some symptoms similar to gluten intolerance.

Try soya spread - not as nice as butter, but acceptable, and see if eases.

Bread makes a lot of us swell up and have indigestion. Its very often not the gluten but the yeast. If I eat fresh bread I am in agony. Many elderly people who came to my cafe could not tolerate yeast products when they became older.

Try day old bread and see if that is any better for you.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular “fad” diets out there. Go here https://tr.im/hNcgg

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it’s just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it’s a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true
