Don't worry about donor blood. It's very carefully screened and is extremely safe - you can ask your hospital about their screening practices if it would make you feel better. Get well soon.

I have leukemia too! I haven't had that yet, only intense chemo. I was terrified! The doctors can be supportive. Its all clean! Kids get this done everyday. My friend Lucy has AML leukemia and she had it done yesterday. Shes fine and shes only 4. Youll be fine!

Be calm about it, people get these all the time so the doctors should be beyond great at doing these now. Relax and think about something else. Hope you get better.
