how would you deal with forced celibacy in your relationship?

I know a couple who is going through this they love each other

it is an health issue that the doctors cant fix they are both doing fine with out sex they have been married for 14 years .

drink too much.

overindulge in something to compensate.

It really doesn't matter, I don't care anymore. When you have been through enough stress, the urge for pleasure can hide for years.

But it is the relationship, the connection and familiarity you know, even without the hotness. The rest of the 'ship needs to be maintained. Stages in life.

First of all I would be supportive about the issue, researching the problem and talking about it could also help

1. Yes, if I love my spouce.

2. Yes, if we want to get married.

3. Yes, if problem is treatable and genuine.

4. Visit to doctor with him will confirm that.

If the problem is genuine, put yourself in his place. What if doc wanted you to be celebate, and your BF left you because he was not getting any!!!

I would try to be understanding. Relationships are based on far more than just sex. It could work.
