Sesame Street turns 40! How many people were practically raised by Sesame Street?
This is pretty much my inner child talking. I saw on Google that Sesame Street celebrates being on the air for 40 years. Immediately, the kid in me remembered all the different episodes of that show I watched.
So I wanted to ask: how many other people grew up watching Sesame Street and did you love it like I did?

I'm only sixteen, but even I can remember watching Sesame Street as a kid. I absolutely loved that show. My favorite character was Big Bird. :D
Sesame Street's 40th anniversery is on November 10, which is my birthday!

I'm older than Sesame Street, but I got cable just so my kids could watch it. I liked watching it with them.

I watched that show everyday when I was younger, I like big bird, my dad was big bird for july 4th along time ago. I love it

Yep, I loved it. Yep, it raised me, taught me to read. Some of the songs still get stuck in my head.
Ladybug picknick, that one that went "1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11, twe-elllll-ve", A loaf of bread, a stick of butter, & a container of milk...
I could probably go on & on, but I'll spare you.
