Which version of Linux comes on an aspire one notebook laptop?
I have got this new laptop but when I go to download anything I never know which version to download! For example rpm, deb... Any help will be much appreciated!

aspire one netbooks come with windows xp so any file you download should be a window compatible file... i think that most files on the internet are either mac or windows compatible.. make sure that you click on the windows versoin of the file..ps most windows files and programs will run in linux...

Why should it matter which one it comes with? There are dozens (hundreds?) of good distros, and the vast majority of them are freeware. If I had an acer aspire one, the first thing I'd likely do with it is install my own favorite distro, whatever that happens to be at the time...
