Given b=2, h=8, what's the equation of graph if the parent function is y=sqrtx?

use y=a sqrtb(x-h) +k

Update:

this formula is based on y= a sqrt b(x-h) +k

it doesn't have a number in the spot of every variable.

DOES NOT HAVE TO BE SPECIFIC!!

    So your equation is sqrt x=a sqrt 2(sqrt x-8)+k ?

    Doesn't seem like there is enough info...

    if b = 2, and h = 8, then we still dont know "k", or "a"

    so the equation will be

    y = a sqrt 2(x - 8) + k

    where a, k are real numbers, and a is not equal to 0

    YOU NEED MORE INFORMATION TO WRITE A MORE SPECIFIC EQUATION
