How to deal with an over agressive leopard gecko?
I got my leopard gecko a year ago and lately he seems to be very agressive. everytime I try to scoop out the feces he becomes very territorial and will bite the scoop and won't let go...also, he won't let me pick him up, even if it has been weeks since i last handled him. what can I do about this? His tank is very dirty and needs cleaning, but i can't clean it if he is going to try to bite me everytime...please help!!!
also, he is the only one i have, should i consider getting another?

Grab some gloves, pick him up and put him into another container he can't escape from.
If it's been weeks since you've handled him, you need to do it more often.
Or maybe he's ready to mate, they get territorial when they are ready to. They want to fight for their mate :P
