my friend is depressed what do i do?

i have a long distance friend, he lives in a different city.

he is really depressed and cant see what an incredible person he is..

he is always going on about how incredible he is but thinks that he is a horrible person that doesnt deserve to be happy..

i dont know what to say to make him realise he is amazing as well...

any suggestions?

    suggest an appointment with a doctor, or contact beyond blue.
