If the universe is ever expanding...?

There is not an end to the universe and from what I have seen from documentaries There is nothing but black sky and gigantic stars. However maybe there are some other form of human in a galaxy far, far away...

They have there own language and writing system and they are much more advanced. Maybe they live in harmony with the little green men.

Imagine that our universe sits on a membrane, and the membrane is like the surface of a bubble that is growing ever bigger and bigger.

There is no edge, everything that exist is in this universe itself, there is no anything beyond that exist

If there is, that require our universe to exist in a multiverse system, but even then, as string theory explains, we will never be able to detect the "edge". All that we can see and feel and sense in any way are the things that only exist in our universe.

The universe is expanding inward because it is a vacuum.

well since the big Bang and the never ending expansion of the universe. supposedly their was nothing before? so theoretically their should be nothing but empty space. but who's to say this event didn't happen somewhere else?

It will continue to keep expanding until it can longer expand.

maybe there is no edge, maybe it folds up on itself like a mobius loop and we merely perceive it to be 3 dimensional, and the entire loop is expanding
