    Black Star > Reasonable Doubt

Black On Both Sides < Blueprint

The New Danger > IML V1

    Ecstatic < Black Album

    True Magic < BP3

    Sell.

  • Black Star vs. Reasonable Doubt - Black Star

Black on Both Sides vs. Blueprint - Tie

The New Danger vs. IML V1 - The New Danger

Ecstatic vs. Black Album - Black Album

True Magic vs. BP3 - Tie.

Looking at that, I'd have to buy.

edit: Chuck, it's more that I think Vols 1-3 are some of Jay's weakest work. The New Danger's not making any of my favourite lists, but I think it's better than Vol 1.

These are two rappers who I love listening to though, so it's close.

sell he's clearly greater desirable than Lupe, Jay, and Ye, yet he's not on the comparable point as Tariq and Kweli. edit: a million). Black thought 2). Talib Kweli 3). Mos Def 4). Jay-Z 5). Kanye West 6). Lupe Fiasco Jay-Z could desire to be #a million yet i'm a hater. nicely i assume no longer too lots, you additionally could make a case for why those 3 may be earlier than him.

  • Jay Z has better rep and swag, Mos Def is more lyrical

    Reasonable Doubt

    BOBS

    The New Danger

    Black

    True Magic

so I guess Mos is better, but Jay is king of new york city

    Overall...sell.

    Blackstar>RD

    BOBS<BP (close)

    The New Danger<Vol 1 (easily)

    Ecstatic<The Black Album (easily)

True Magic = BP3 (neither particularly great, but both good)

Edit: Bonnie, you actually enjoyed The New Danger?

Edit: I understand. Its not that I like Vol 1 a whole lot, its just that I LOATHE New Danger.

    Edit: TF. No, we don't!

    Lyrically, yes easily. Overall, NO.

Reasonable Doubt, especially if you account for the fact that most of the dope shyt was coming from my man Kweli.

Black on Both Sides and the rest go to Jay-Z.

Source(s): I don't know why you made it an album for album comparison. If you take the overall worth of Jay-Z's catalog vs. Mos Def's, Jay's is by far better.
