legally speaking when a female is being repirmanded?

at work shouldnt there be a female in the room rather than 3 males amnagers with the door closed repermanding a feamle?? it was actaully 2 male managers a security gaurd (male) and my union rep which was male..

    Legally, no. There is no such requirement, at least in the U.S.

    Well, technically, the union rep, male or female, was there on your behalf. Did anyone behave inappropriately?

    Perhaps you should be more concerned with the content of the reprimand than the gender of the parties.

    No law was broken here. You could ask your union to assign you a female steward, as a courtesy, if they allow for that thing, but the managers are going to be the ones who have an interest in whatever conversation is going on.

    No, but you could make it much more difficult for them if you march up to one of them and stand about an inch away from him. They'll be so worried about being charged with sexual harassment that the reprimand will be swift and toothless.

    No, they aren't sexually assaulting you, they are giving you a reprimand of some sort. You had union representation, you aren't entitled to anything else.
