*Gives drugs to his own son in hopes he'll overdoes

*After a fellow inmate arranges for him to meet with his estranged son as a way of letting go of the past he rewards the inmate by having his own son kidnap the inmates two young kids. He then has his son cut off the hand of the inmates little boy (who later dies) then ships it in a box to the inmate.

*Is leader of the prison's Aryan Brotherhood

But yeah, I guess House is pretty despicable because he's occasionally rude to people.

Not even close. He's mostly just a jerk. For a despicable waste of carbon, try Topher from Dollhouse. He wipes the memories of all of the people in the Dollhouse and sends them out to be raped on a daily basis. He's very proud of his work and feels no remorse. I don't think there has ever been a more evil character on TV.

Probably not, there are all sorts of made up people on soap operas that are much worse.
