About system restore?

I have a desk top computer that is about 7 years old, works great, but the thing is, in the 7 years I have had it, I have had to do a system restore about 3 times on it loosing everything, music and all, but the thing is I caught a virus on Facebook and I had to do a system restore, my hard drive says I have only 5 gigs left, Those past files are still there, and from the other 2 times I did it also, I have a 30 gig hard drive no massive amount but I would really like to get it back to the original, I have no room to down load music, or anything, is there anyway to get it back and retrieve all that information on my system??? Or do I have to have someone wipe it clean?

  • delete the software that you no longer use

go to start, control panel, add/remove program and remove unused program.. make sure you know what they are..

    run ccleaner http://ccleaner.com/

and try turning off system restore and turn it back on because system restore takes up space on your hard drive or lower the bar by going to right click your my computer click on system restore tab and lower the scale.. good luck!!
