My home is heated by propane and is very expensive?

I need to know what type of space heater to buy to augment the propane. Last year my bill to heat my home for one month was $675.00 and my home is well insulated. Specifics please.

Look into an electric heat pump. There are no regulations on the price of propane, and they can charge whatever they want. We live in Ohio, and we have cold winters, we like our heat pump.

Source(s): Well, at least we do now, but Obama says he is going to tax coal heavily, and our power is generated by coal.

space heaters are not any more economical than propane for the most part, is natural gas available? are you allowed combustible heating sources like coal, wood, corn burners?

coal would be the cheapest, well out where we live anyways, then corn, then wood unless you have your own timberland to deforest.

you paid that much for propane? i think you need to check for leaks in the pipes,, I fill my 300 gallon tank once every two YEARS and it is usually still at least one third full when i do.. !!!!less than $100 a refill

that makes them safe and very economical To use. Have seen them in
