Why would any country sign something as damaging and repressive as the Copenhagen Climate Treaty?
The meeting takes place next month in Copenhagen and will replace the expired Kyoto Protocol. This treaty will give extraordinary powers to a new United Nations institution.
It's not designed to have any effect on climate.
It just assigns blame for CO2 use, forces 'equalization payments' between have/have not countries, and imposes stiff penalties for non-compliance. In short, it's blatant communism attacking capitalism and the western way of life. Clearly it's a thousand times worse than Kyoto.
A link to the full draft of the the Copenhagen Climate Treaty can be found on my link page.

Thats why Kyoto didnt work the first time, smaller countries were exempt and our Senate said no way, Remember, in the Constitution it takes 2/3 rds of the Senate to ratify any treaty, the Pres. doesnot have any power over treaties, God forbid it would get thru the Senate, it calls for a world govt and an actual 2% tax on Wall St. which would shut it down.....................for a transfer of wealth to smaller countries would destroy us.

Oh come on, it just signs away our sovereignty over to the UN. The UN loves Capitalism right? Your just being paranoid.
Funny how Bill Clinton wouldn't touch the Kyoto Protocol, even if it were wearing a blue dress over some sweaty cankles.

The only way for the leaders of the democratic party can stay out of jail in 4 years time is to turn over our government to the UN and then request asylum somewhere American troops cannot find them and bring them to justice when the people of the world finally realize just how cold it is going to get and how soon it is going to get there with a fully shut down minimum output sun!

Did you know that the friends of science is funded by oil companies and other special interest groups?
But go ahead, tell me all the bad stuff and ignore the good...which exceeds the bad...
I have a sneaking suspicion that I'm the only one who read the article and watched the video...Or at least one of the only ones.

Because it is neither damaging nor repressive. Yes, there is a link on your page. But it is apparent that you have not read that draft of the proposed treaty.

To be "politically correct", no matter HOW much it costs taxpayers, since the U.S. would wind up paying a lot.
I, personally, think the whole thing is a big rip-off!!
