do people really know how to take a joke?

im just worried that the amount of people in America with a good sense of humor are dwindling away.......how do you feel?

    I agree, and I know exactly how you feel.

    Depends on the people who you are around. And what they're into and whatnot. When I met up with friends in Louisiana lots of people thought of my sarcasm offensive and mean.

    But I must admit here in Florida, some do take it decently well.

    I just hate those awkward moments when you say an expression/ or tell a joke, the other person is like .."what?" "what are you talking about?" or add in a fake "Ha ha" from pity. I hate how they take stuff so literally.

  • I feel that people who have absolutely no sense of humor are extremely irritating and not fun at all, and yes there are more of those types of people everyday

    I think its in part due to the fact that we have become so stinking politically correct. People are not sure what is safe to joke about. But, they are secretly laughing there A...ss off behind there back anyway.....

    honestly i can take a joke better than anyone i know... but i'm South African and we have an amazing sense of humour here.
