Ford Mondeo MK2 Thermostat Housing?

I have a ford mondeo mk2 5 door hatch, (2000)(w) 2.0ltr zetec...trying to get a replacement thermostat housing but finding it very difficult to track down on the web, tried ebay, breakers yards etc, they seem to be like gold dust...fords wanted mega money for one, £100 + vat which i thought was a bit high for something which is only made out of plastic...anyone got any ideas as to get a hold of one please, running out of options. You'll find an option for thermostat housings mid page on this site.

    http://www.247spares.co.uk/browse/cooling#top

    There is also this site.

    http://www.1stchoice.co.uk/

I've used both in the past for difficult to find parts and they have been very competitive on prices.

Best time to put your query in is late at night or early first thing as you'll get loads of responses and you'll get them pretty quickly.

won't be able to provide you pictures, even even though it extremely is an undemanding activity to do. in actuality, open the hatch so the struts are prolonged and help it interior the completely open place via propping with something rather stout, a lump of 4x2 or comparable will do the trick. Then it extremely is in basic terms a question of disconnecting the struts (on occasion you will be able to could desire to scrupulously do away with somewhat plastic cover) and removing. on occasion the fittings in simple terms pull off, on occasion you will be able to could desire to do away with some torx headed screws. replace is the opposite.
