Will the nationals sign..pedro,giambi,nomar,holliday..and win the 2010 world series?

Update:

hey add tejeda to ..with dunn,zimmerman,dukes...pedro could teach the young pitchers...on slow,slower pitches

    Substitute Yankees for Nationals and the answer would be Yes. Otherwise: No.

    pedro and nomar are washed up . so signing them wouldnt be a good idea. they havent had anything since they left the sox. giambi is ifffy at best. and where would the nationals get all this money to sign them anyway. you have to make money to do that. and having 5 people show up to games doesnt do that

  • No. What they need to do is build through the draft, which they have already started to do by drafting Stratsburg. Now they need to draft Bryce Harper, which they hopefully won't because I'm praying that the Pirates somehow get them. Signing any of those guys would do nothing, especialy Martinez, Giambi, and Garciaparra, because in my book, they're all has-beens. The Nats are on the right track and need to continue building there system.

    Why would signing Nomar, Giambi, and Pedro make someone a World Series contender in the first place? And no, they won't
