Mandarin Oranges in Chocolate Cake?

I have a Devil's Food Cake mix I'm trying to use, but would like to add something to it. So I am wondering, has anyone ever tried mandarin oranges in a Chocolate cake? If you have please let me know if you liked it or not.

    sure but i hate orange and chocolate together lots of people love the combination watch your liquid as oranges are juicy may have to cut back on liquid and or add flour
